Day 25: Llanes to Pineres de Pria

A stunning location for the neo-classical Church of Nuestra Senora de los Dolores of Barro

The Church was situated across the ria

Capilla de La Animas which is met on the way to the Nuestra Senora Church

... eventually emerging at the ruins of the monastery of San Antolin de Bedon

The monastery dates from the 12th century



As luck would have it, I was able to get in to the monastery Church through an open side door









These carvings were in the floor of the Church - probably marking graves (top & left)
