Day 26: Pineres de Pria to Leces

Although I should have reached the Church, somehow I lost the arrows ...

... and a while later rejoined the road



I found the arrows again but unfortunately misinterpreted one of them and ended up taking a detour up towards the mountains which cost me an hour!

Much to my delight was open and had beautiful ceiling murals





















Pilgrims can cross the Ria Sella by means of a modern bridge ...

... but they originally crossed by boat from the old port

There are some very ornate houses on the route. It was now pretty hot



The camino now follows the valley of Arroyo San Pedro
