Day 37: La Caridad to Ribadeo

Ribadeo is the destination for today (left)
I decided to stay on the N-634 as I was trying to gain one final rest day later on at Mondonedo







Unlike the wider N-632, this road did not have a handy verge. Shortly after this point, there was a minor road parallel to it which I thought would rejoin it further on .....

..... I was wrong and this route took me inland away from the coast!

I made a lucky guess and ended up back on track ......





... and after resting in a handy roadside cafe I was soon approaching Ribadeo (left)

which had the most fantastic views out seawards as well as upriver (above & below)

Crossing the bridge over the river Ribadeo ....

.... brings me into Galicia
