The route mostly on the road had been along the valley, following the Rio Valindares. It had been undulating, ascending then losing height only to ascend a bit more which made for frustrating walking! For only the third time in the pilgrimage (apart from camping of course), I had to sleep on the floor. However these hardships were more than made up for by hot showers and the company of other pilgrims - a rare occurrance so far on this camino |
