Day 46: Arzua to Labacolla

This was far preferable to sleeping on a packed floor in the pilgrim refugio!

Do not be fooled by this quiet looking road.
The camino was now swelled by many pilgrims from the Camino Frances, all anxious to arrive in Santiago in time for the Saint's Feastday, 25th july



A very quiet, old fountain that had a real atmosphere of peace



This will be a familiar sight to anyone who has walked or cycled to Santiago





The shell is even built into the new road (top)

Hotel room in the appropriately named La Conche at Labacolla.
By now the little group of us who had walked together this last few days had gone our separate ways
