Camino websites classified by content

Our index is presented in 5 ways. This main index page uses the 5 sets of codes shown below to indicate the main features of all the sites concerned. The more comprehensive sites are flagged up with a coloured background: comprehensive, very comprehensive.

If you are particularly interested in sites covering just one of the main areas, (for example, Walking) you can click on the link at the head of the code list, and it will take you to a listing of all the categories within the "Walking" section, with links to the sites which have relevant information within that category. Each site has a size code in brackets, and codes indicating the languages available on that site. There are similar lists for Languages, Resources, More info, Walking and Caminos.

And you can also go straight to an individual category within any area by clicking on the link in the code list. This feature is particularly useful if you just want sites which have pages available in a particular language.

The titles of websites have been abbreviated to16 letters and spaces. National pilgrim associations (confraternities) have a wide variety of names - the abbreviation NPA with the name of the courtry has been used. Similarly, the regional pilgrim associations in France and Spain are indicated by RPA. Other abbreviations used in site titles are: CR - Casa Rural; CS - Camino de Santiagiago

We welcome suggestions for additions to this index. If you would like to suggest a site, please Email us giving the address of the site, the languages of the site, the three most important subject categories it should be listed under, and (if it is your own site) whether you are able to include a reciprocal link to www.santiago-compostela.net

Please notify dead links if you come across any. Thanks

You may find it more convenient to reduce the font size on your browser to display entries on one line; in Internet Explorer you can do this from View, Text Size, Smaller from the top menu bar
