Stage 1B - El Port de la Selva to Figueres

The first 2.6 km. are on the main road, and the Way then turns left up the left hand side of the valley

Initially it is a wide track

but fairly soon it gets narrower and zigzags up the hill....

winding past high stone walls of the terraces made by the monks when vineyards covered these hills
